While pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972, Alex Pilarski discovered real estate and it was an instant connection. What began as a shift in direction quickly became a defining moment in his career.
Determined to follow this new path, Alex completed his studies at York University and, by 1974, earned his Broker’s license. That same year, he launched Alex Pilarski Real Estate, becoming one of the youngest real estate brokers in Canada and setting the foundation for a legacy of leadership and innovation in the industry.
Recognizing there was still much to learn, Alex joined one of Canada's premier real estate companies as a branch manager in 1979. Under his leadership, that branch rose to become the #1 branch in Canada.
In 1985, Alex co-founded REMAX Realtron with his brother Richard. Together, they have earned numerous distinctions within the REMAX system: Multiple Office Brokers of the Year, #1 REMAX in the world (most transactions, 2012), International Broker Owners of the Year, and the prestigious Distinguished Service Award.
Alex has served on multiple Toronto Real Estate Board committees, including Ethics, Arbitration, and MLS, and held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Ethics Committee. He is a certified mentor with Buffini and Company and Rich Robbins International, and remains actively involved in coaching sales associates toward their next career milestone.
Off the clock, Alex is an avid golfer, tennis player, basketball enthusiast, and skier.
